Wickens has successfully completed an audit for the latest revision of the internationally recognised Quality Management System certificate ISO 9001:2015, which acknowledges the company’s capabilities and expertise in supplying safe, high quality products that meet British and International quality standards.
ISO 9001:2015 is the most recent of the relevant Quality Management System standards, which, for Wickens, is an upgrade from the previously held ISO 9001:2008 award.
Accreditation was completed by BSI, the UK National Standards Body, whose task was to ensure that all management processes from design to manufacture and product delivery are effective, efficient and customer focused, and product quality improves continually.
Tony Maycroft, Operations Manager at Wickens, said, “It is vital that Wickens complies with the latest recognised international standards and proves the ongoing commitment to achieving the highest standards in quality management.
“Wickens also aims to give our customers the confidence that the organisation has been audited by the internationally recognised British Standards Institution and that the quality management system is in operation and will be maintained. ”
